Recipe | Peach Crisp

Filling

  • 5 cups sliced peaches

  • 2 tablespoons white flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Topping

  • 5 tablespoons salted butter (melted)

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1/3 cup white flour

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and butter an 8Γ—8-inch cast iron skillet or baking dish.

  2. In a large bowl, stir together the sliced peaches, flour and cinnamon.

  3. Pour the peaches into the buttered skillet and spread them out evenly. Set aside.

  4. Add the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt to the bowl and mix.

  5. Heat butter until melted and stir into the dry ingredients until crumble forms.

  6. Evenly spread the crumble topping over the peaches in the cast iron skillet.

  7. Bake at 400ΒΊ for 30 minutes or until the peach filling begins to bubble and the crumble begins to brown.

  8. Remove from the oven, top with some vanilla ice cream, serve and enjoy!
